Wow! Such a beautiful, elegant plant! We absolutely love the full shape and wonderful foliage of the Plerandra elegantissima. This is a very beautiful delicate looking plant that can add style without blocking too much light, ideal for creating interest without dominating a space.Â
Plerandra elegantissima or False Aralia is a species native to New Caledonia, a small island in the pacific seas. Its leaves are thin, coppery red to dark green with toothed edges and consist of 7 or 8 fingers. it grows tall in its native environment but grows slowly as a houseplant indoors.Â
Plerandra elegantissima likes to stay in one place and moving it too often may cause its leaves to drop. Shedding leaves may also indicate that your humidity is too low as well.
