Wow! Such a beautiful, elegant plant! We absolutely love the full shape and wonderful foliage on this houseplant!
Ludisia discolor are terrestrial orchids, they are found growing on the forest floor. Prized for its foliage, rather than its flowers, the leaves are velvety deep maroon with red veins that run parallel to the centre of the leaf. The small flowers are white with twisting yellow columns and grow on upright stalks, the flowers last a month or more.
If you decide to give this interesting houseplant as a gift, we can include a free, handwritten card – just specify your message at the basket stage of delivery and weâll do the rest! We wonât give the game away with paperwork or prices either so itâll be a wonderful surprise!
